I did, especially since I submitted my responses early, and was able to listen to them with fresh ears.

Ya, that beastiality question was a unusual one, but I enjoyed answering it nonetheless.

I must admit the quality of the questions is consistently good, and the answers are very thought provoking. Good job everyone!

No Aaron, good job to YOU.

Why thank you Franc!

Why are these comments from the last episode?

Well Aaron, you can think of it as an ongoing conversation.

The real reason is because I want to make sure the Vox Populi posts always have comments.

I started laughing when I saw Uber's and Zach's first comments... AGAIN! Like the recurring side device in a low-budget comedy. It's become a classic in its own right.

I hope to get a chance to review the show later today. Can't this morning as the plummer's coming, and I have to help my wife get ready to run off to work.

Hope all are doing well.

Regards,
Dawson

Thanks for the personal welcome, Franc!

I'm going to listen to the show now. I'll be very interested to hear the various perspectives on the questions, which I thought were very good.

Dawson-

I also like how it makes it seem as if I'm so responsible that I always submit my responses early.

Think of this comments section as our little form of eternal return.

Well, Zach, consistency I'll grant you. But that doesn't explain how you can account for your assumption that the universe is not a double inverted octagonal hedroplex circumferenced with bathochromic likenesses of Uma Thurman.

Or you can think of Uberkuh and Zach as our in-house comedy duo.

"Did anyone enjoy the show as much as I did?"

How could I possibly know?

I really enjoyed this one though.

Your age of consent argument is valid in an idealistic sense. It presumes that one who is young and female understands the risks associated with becoming pregnant before full maturity. Not to be sexist, it also presupposes that the male understands and is willing to accept responsibility for the consequences of his actions. One must, after all, make an informed decision or calculated risk. Ignorance of the consequences does not make for good decisions. That said, there is also a moral problem in education. As practiced, it is somewhat coercive. If young humans were not directed to obtain education, many would languish in ignorance for far too long, and make bad decisions, like following a demagogue. On the flip side, how does one prevent indoctrination into various prejudices and belief systems that are propagated in schools? The Pledge of Allegiance is only one of the most obvious. The whole concept of instructing someone to say the pledge invalidates it. It is like a contract that is signed under duress. The bigger problems as I see it, are the more subtle indoctrination into hierarchical thinking and conformity that is constantly taking place in primary education.

Sorry about the tail-twisting tenses, it's just a mood.

Unfortunately, Franc had to dump 3 of my 4 answers because of sound/mic problems. Too bad. At least I got my pro-fetal-ownership rant in there!

I don't believe in anything. Not even atheists.

Your feed seems to be running at "Alvin and the Chipmunks" speed. Let's hope your comment section enjoys the same fate as "The Exorcist" did for Beetlejuice:

"I've seen "The Exorcist" about 167 times... and it keeps getting funnier, every single time I see it..."

At 7/01/2006 6:30 PM, Blogger Francois Tremblay declaimed...

Oh shit. I'm gonna have to change that.

Okay, well I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I put up a download link instead.

So the applet should be working now at normal speed, also on the podcasts. It's all going to be cool from now on.;)
