Firefly515 "Loves" Atheists

David B. Pearson was kind enough to upload a YouTube video of a user named Firefly515 who claims to love atheists, yet simultaneously demonizes them. To his credit, he seems well meaning. The problem here is that all his premises are messed up, and by his own admission, the atheists that he is interacting with are nice people. Where are his atheist demons that want to destroy his children and his way of life? Incidentally, Firefly515 cheered the YouTube banning of Nick Ginsberg.

Anyway, press play and observe the insanity:

Yes, Firefly loves atheists. I saw no hatred in that clip whatsoever. Jiminy Jillickers, the insanity!

I agree with the kid screaming in the background.

I think it's great! If all the Xians do as he suggests and study the Bible in detail, they'll be defecting right and left. Nothing like a little Bible study to cure the Xian disease.

Frank,

It is the content of his speech, and not the tone of it, that exposes the hate.

He says that atheists are a "threat." But he nowhere explains why. It's always interesting to listen to someone who believes in invisible magic beings explain why not believing in said invisible magic beings poses a "threat." If their invisible magic being is watching over everything and "controls whatsoever comes to pass" (Van Til), how can non-believers pose any threat? 'Believe and become loopy' seems to be the underlying lesson of any sermon like this one.

Dawson
